Temple Taps with Adam

Taps Temple

The namesake of this publication comes from our good friend Kayode Ewumi (pictured above).

The “Temple Tap” meme celebrates witty conclusions from taking common situations to their logical extreme.

Already late? Take your time… You can’t be late twice.

While I don’t actually advocate being later than necessary, it’s an interesting conclusion. For me, the underlying message is: “Don’t stress about things you can’t control.”

The intent of this publication is to write in such a way that people can learn and grow. To take my experiences and my questions, and think critically about them—hopefully coming to conclusions that make us tap our temples and say, “Ah. Good thinking!”

Within this publication you can expect to find questions, tutorials, spin-offs, brain teasers, and philosophical quandaries. Regardless of the topic and format, my hope is that you’ll walk away with a new tool in the ol’ mental toolbox. Taps Temple.

My secondary, secret plot is to develop my writing muscles on the fly as I write super great articles for you. The end goal is to write in a manner that communicates precisely, with a dash of humor. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Beyond that, I hope the publication takes on a life of its own. I’d like to write about things that interest folks, so far as I have relevant commentary or questions to contribute!

Thanks again, and please send this to your cousin if you like it! In the absence of a suitable cousin I will also accept forwards to spouses, long-standing friends, in-laws, and outlaws.

I write about all the things that interest me. Included in that expansive list are things related to software, automation, learning, systems analysis, philosophy, faith, business, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and the nature of human struggle.

As a passionate husband, father, and software engineer, I take my ability to turn anything into a witty dad-joke VERY seriously. I am much funnier than most people think.
